Appellate Litigation

Cummings & Lockwood’s attorneys represent clients in appeals before both state and federal courts, including the Appellate and Supreme Courts in Connecticut and Florida and the United States Courts of Appeals for the Second and Eleventh Circuit.  We handle appeals of cases in which we were counsel at the trial court level and cases in which we are brought in specially on appeal.  By leveraging our outstanding brief-writing and oral advocacy skills and our appellate clerkship experience, we have successfully represented clients in a wide range of appeals, including complex commercial matters, probate appeals, and land use disputes.
