Steven J. Georgiades

Background

Steven J. Georgiades is an associate in Cummings & Lockwood's Private Clients Group and is based in the Greenwich office.  Steve joined Cummings & Lockwood in March 2021 and his practice focuses on estate planning for high net worth individuals, with a particular emphasis on minimizing exposure to gift, estate and generation-skipping transfer taxes while maximizing administrative flexibility.  He also focuses on income tax planning for his clients and represents fiduciaries in the settlement of estates and trusts, providing assistance throughout the administration.

Steve additionally serves as a trust and estates expert witness in divorce proceedings and prepares reports in anticipation of trial.

Prior to joining Cummings & Lockwood, Steve began his legal career at Blair & Potts in Stamford, where he also practiced in the areas of estate planning, estate and trust administration and taxation of individuals, trusts and estates.
