Matthew N. Turko joined the Naples office of Cummings & Lockwood in 2006 as an associate in the Private Clients Group.  Matt transferred to the Stamford office of Cummings & Lockwood in 2011.  Matt focuses his practice on sophisticated estate planning and wealth accumulation and preservation planning strategies, including foreign and domestic asset protection planning, for high net worth entrepreneurs, executives, doctors and other professionals.  Additionally, Matt’s practice focuses on transfer aspects of wealth protection planning and wealth transfer planning for nonresidents of the United States.  Matt also assists clients with the formation and restructuring of closely-held business entities.

Matt received a B.S. in Business Administration, summa cum laude, from Eastern Connecticut State University, and his J.D., magna cum laude, from Stetson University College of Law.  Matt is admitted to practice in Connecticut, Florida and the United States Tax Court.  Matt is a member of the Estates and Probate Section of the Connecticut Bar Association, the Fairfield County Bar Association and the Real Property, Probate and Trust section of the Florida bar.
