Kenneth D. Krier | Principal Download V-Card
Kenneth D. Krier is a principal of Cummings & Lockwood. Since 1975 he has focused his practice on estate and tax planning, charitable giving and estate and trust administration. Ken was born in Jacksonville, Florida, and attended Phillips Academy (Andover) and Wesleyan University. He received his law degree from the University of Virginia and a Master of Laws (in Taxation) from New York University. After practicing law for four years with the law firm of Shearman & Sterling in New York City, Ken joined Cummings & Lockwood in 1979. Ken moved to the Firm’s Naples office in 1984 and was the partner-in-charge of the Estate Planning and Probate Department in that office for twelve years. He is certified by The Florida Bar in Wills, Trusts and Estates. He is admitted to practice law in Connecticut and Florida and is a member of the Taxation and the Real Property and Probate Sections of The Florida Bar. Ken is an author and frequent speaker on estate planning topics and has served on the faculty of the University of Connecticut and the Connecticut Bar Association Continuing Legal Education Program. In addition to his professional activities, he is a 1993 graduate of Leadership Collier, and is currently president of The Admiralty Point Condominium Association, a Director of the Culinary and Hospitality Education Foundation of Southwest Florida, co-Chairman of the Planned Giving Committee of The Conservancy of Southwest Florida, and a member of the Endowment Committee of North Naples United Methodist Church.
