Compensation & Benefits Cummings & Lockwood's salaries have continued to rise, and our benefits have expanded. We believe that our salary structure and associate bonus program have always placed Cummings & Lockwood in superior position to many Connecticut firms and in competition with all. The starting salary for first-year associates is determined each year prior to the commencement of the hiring season and increases are given on an annual basis. The firm has adopted a number of significant benefits for associates, including:
Cummings & Lockwood has adopted a structure in which associates may first be considered for income partnership as early as six years after graduation from law school; consideration for equity partnership may occur at anytime thereafter.
